Please observe the rules of golf as set forth by the Royal & Ancient St. Andrews Golf Club, and the rules of etiquette. Courteous play assures all will experience an enjoyable round at a comfortable pace – within four and a half hours.
- Attire is smart causal
- Metal and soft spikes are allowed
Also, please respect the course by repairing ball marks, replacing divots or filling divots with mixed soil and seed found in carry bags at the 1st tee. Additional seed mix is available to refill bags on most tee box bins throughout the course.
Mobile phones are not allowed to be used on the course except for licensed medical professionals. Discreet use is allowed in the clubhouse and parking lot.
Players are expected to wear an acceptable standard of golfing attire when playing The Dunes or Scurmore courses.
Remember, your position on the course should be behind the group in front, not in front of the group behind.
The Club reserves the right to refuse access to the Clubhouse or Course to anyone dressed inappropriately.
